I took time and read all the information in the "How To Become A Dalton Police Officer" section and I was wanting to know if while attending the 10 week academy do the recruits stay there or do they travel back and forth everyday? Thank you for your time.

J Parker

M. Johnson: Currently, academy students do not stay on the premises at night. The academy has the space, but further developments are needed.

What all do you need to go through when you are being hired.... Lie detector test, written test. How does the process go?
