Dalton Police Department Hosts Immigration Forum

The Dalton Police Department hosted it's third in a series of forums last night at City Hall last night.  Dalton Police Chief James Chadwick and Agent Steve Peluso, resident agent in charge of the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in Dalton, gave presentations and answered questions from approximately 50 residents in attendance.

The goal of the forum was to inform the public on what law enforcement agencies have been doing and will be doing in the future relating to immigration issues.

A fourth and final forum regarding personal security and safety is planned for sometime before the end of the year.
