Married Couple Arrested For Scamming Local Charities

Dalton Police have arrested a married couple for scamming local charitable organizations.  Beverly Joanne Knipp and Michael Paul Knipp are charged with theft by deception.  The couple would tell people at the organizations that they could not provide for their six children, when in reality Beverly Knipp does not have custody of her six children.  If you or anyone you know has fallen victim to Beverly or Michael Knipp, please call Detective Greg Bates at 706-278-9085 extension 137.
