The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying two women who may have been involved with the theft of makeup brushes worth approximately $1,200 from the Walnut Square Mall Belk’s store.
On the evening of Thursday, November 12th, the brushes and their container were taken from behind the cosmetics counter at Belk’s. A short time later, the empty container was found near the dressing rooms.
The two women pictured below were recorded on the store’s surveillance system in the area of the store when the brushes went missing. Investigators believe they may have seen what happened, and want to talk to them about the incident. If you have any information about the identity of these women, or the theft itself, please call Detective John Helton at 706-278-9085, extension 143.
