Here are some results from Day 2 of competition in the Georgia Police and Fire Games.
Toughest Cop Competition
The “Toughest Cop” competition features an obstacle course followed by a 1.5 mile run and then a course of fire with a handgun and a shotgun with time penalties assessed for each missed shot.
1st Place – Adrian Gomez (19:43) - Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office
2nd Place – Mike Beller (19:49) – Chamblee Police Department
3rd Place – John New (21:23) – Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office
Deanna Jarrett-Gramling from the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office won Toughest Female Cop with a time of 30:36.
The Cycling Competition consists of an 18.5 mile bike race on the same course as the Georgia Cup race.
1st Place – Robert Cotrell (53:33) – Atlanta Fire Department
2nd Place – Douglas Kerns (53:34) – Dalton Fire Department
3rd Place – Jeffrey Greene (53:35) – Clayton County Fire Department
1st Place – Chris Laird (74) – Chamblee Police Department
2nd Place – Eric Boling (76) – Cherokee County Police Department
3rd Place – Daniel Oak (76) – DeKalb Police Department
