The Dalton Police Department is asking for information from the public to identify two males and a female who were involved in a pair of recent burglaries which investigators believe are related. A witness to one of the burglaries was able to work with a composite sketch artist at the police department to create a sketch of the female suspect.
The first incident happened on July 20th at 1707 Wellington Drive shortly before noon. At least one suspect entered the residence after breaking out the glass in a sunroom door. A large amount of jewelry, a purse, and some medication were taken. A witness to the burglary reported seeing a silver pickup truck in the driveway with two white males and one white female inside.
The second incident happened on July 26th at approximately 3:00 pm at 2004 Kingsridge Drive. In this burglary, at least one suspect made entry to the house after forcing open a garage door. Three watches were stolen from a bedroom inside. A witness reported seeing what was described as a silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck, possibly a 2000 or newer model year with two white males and one white female inside backing up into the driveway around the same time as the burglary. The witness thought that the males might have been in their 30’s.
One of the witnesses who saw the female’s face assisted the DPD’s sketch artist with a composite sketch which is included with this release. Anyone with information on these burglaries is asked to please contact Detective John Helton with the Dalton Police Department at 706-278-9085, extension 143.

sounds like the same people that were involved in a complaint on Whitfield county P2C from Aug 16 on Goodwill Dr. I believe the officer showed the witness a picture of someone named James Ray, and the witness said that was the man that he saw with another man and an older looking woman in a truck loading stuff up from the trailer.
